Preferred by most do it yourself users, these drainage gratings are best for contractors of buildings. They are made of HDPE, steel or ductile iron and are very light weight due to which, they can be installed by anyone alone. These drains meet the standards put forth for buildings, structures, roads etc. by the safety and the regulatory authorities. The best feature about them is their non breakability which makes it a good choice. Because of the composition, they can sustain various concentrations of different acids and can tolerate high degrees of temperatures.
Linear Channel Drainage Type
Available in various widths, these grates come in two types. The first is meant to carry domestic loads whereas the second for heavy industrial loads. Developed with polymer concrete and been in use for a long time, they are very popular because of the freedom of design (choice of sizes). Considered ideal for roads and home use, they come with a full range of accessories to provide a complete finish.

Because they need to be removed from time to time to allow for cleaning and maintenance, the floor drain grates installed should always be of good quality.
